Behavior Moxie offers a variety of workshops to help educators learn about and understand behavior. Content can be tailored to your district or building needs. We provide whole-district, building-wide, and small group/role-specific trainings and have workshops that range from brief after-school to multi-day options.

Topics Include:

Introduction to behavior concepts
Classroom-wide reinforcement plans
Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) Skills:
- Indirect assessment data methods (record reviews, interviews, checklists)
- Collecting and analyzing ABC data
- Conducting preference and choice assessments
- Assessing specific interventions

Topics Include

Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Skills:
- How to develop an effective behavior plan
- Prevention strategies
- Identifying replacement and alternative behaviors
- Instructional strategies and methods
- Student-specific reinforcement strategies
- Responding to challenging behaviors

Topics Include

Writing behavior goals, measuring and monitoring behavior
Graphing and data analysis skills
How to teach staff to implement BIPs
Measuring and monitoring BIP implementation

Note: Some topics are stand alone and others have prerequisites or are taught in a series.
